Honoring the life of each animal we raise on our farm is the most important thing to us. In an effort to utilize all parts of our animals in combination with Caitlin’s artistry we have been processing our cow heads, letting them decompose naturally and then hand painting them into beautiful works of art.
Each cow head is thoughtfully processed and then sent to our pasture to feed ravens, crows, and bald eagles. It’s a long process of letting them naturally decompose while nourishing the extensive wildlife on Knob Hill.
